Every Wednesday, Novarad is going to post some helpful hints from our support staff here on the blog. These could reference some questions frequently asked by our customers or could be about new product features. If you have a question you would like answered in this feature, please email email@example.com.
This week’s hint comes from Nathan Hatch in Support.
“My technical tip is a fix to when sites report seeing studies listed multiple times in the study browser.
If you open the PACS viewer to find that the studies in the study browser seem to be duplicated (listed multiple times), check the Data Sources dropdown in the filters area above the list of studies. Chances are that there are multiple data sources available to select, and either more than one is checked marked, or all is selected. Many times there are data sources that redirect to the same server, one may be a direct network link, and another could be a web based data source for instance. The solution in this case is to select a single data source in the dropdown field. Once done, the duplicate studies should disappear.“
