Two Arizona Installs

AZ-Tech Radiology and Portable X-Ray & Ultrasound, both located in Phoenix, are the latest facilities to install NovaPACS from NovaRad Corporation.

Using NovaPACS, the radiologists at AZ-Tech Radiology and Portable X-Ray & Ultrasound and the referring physicians that these facilities contract with will now have eased access to new and archived studies.

NovaRAD offers a completely turnkey system. Included are a complete PACS, hi-res monitors, CR, dictation, scheduling, image capture, orthopedic, MIP/MPR, reports, interfaces, cardio, mammo tracking, film digitize, paper scan, software obsolescence, hardware maintenance and replacement, OR carts, installation, training, on-going training, software updates and documentation, finger-print sign on, CD publishers and bar code readers.

“We work with radiologists to ensure that our technologies offer the features, for example a mouse-driven viewer, set synch and advanced hanging protocols, that help them be most efficient,” said Paul Shumway, NovaRad vice president. “We are also cognizant that cost is a key consideration for any facility and offer our technologies through an affordable subscription pricing model. Typically, facilities achieve a return on their investment in less than one year.”

To complement NovaPACS, NovaRad offers NovaRIS. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.
