The community hospital contracts with radiologists for reading and prior to NovaPACS used a teleradiology service. Now, interpreting physicians have access study images through the PACS, which is helping to decrease report turnaround time.
“Community hospitals that serve rural populations contend with the challenge geographical access to healthcare specialists,” said Paul Shumway, NovaRad vice president. “NovaPACS is helping to bridge the gap between rural and metropolitan service opportunities with technologies that can eliminate geographical barriers and provide instantaneous access to images and reports.”
Novarad will be exhibiting at the NRHA Critical Access Conference in Kansas City from September 29th through October 1st. Come visit us at booth #316!
