NovaradConnect: Everything’s Bigger in Texas

We recently finished another NovaradConnect conference, and this year’s meeting was a huge success! This year we travelled to Dallas, TX and held the conference at the beautiful Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center. We had a good turnout for the conference, which ran from Wednesday to Friday September 2-4.

On Wednesday we had our opening reception, with an Industry Analyst address from Mark Watts. The next morning, we officially kicked off the meeting with a Keynote address from Rex Christensen, a Radiology Department Professor from Weber State University. We had training sessions for our customers for the rest of the day on Thursday and Friday. One of the highlights was at Thursday night’s dinner. We had an excellent performance of Dueling Pianos—which was very well received by our guests.

New this year we offered customers a 30-minute individual Workflow Analysis in which Novarad Engineers from Implementation and Sales Engineering reviewed workflow, made recommendations, and provided documents for customers to take with them. Of the customers that took a survey on the workflow analysis, 100% said they found it valuable and 100% said they would be making changes to their site’s workflow because of their individualized analysis.

We received excellent feedback from the User Group overall; we received 95% 4’s and 5’s rating (out of 5) for the venue, food, location, training sessions, and the conference in general!

Classroom times were great for learning–and for earning CE credits.

Meals gave us time to meet one another and talk one on one.

Keynote speaker, Rex Christensen, and awesome MC with big Dallas hat, Cheryl Adams.
