Novarad User Group Meeting Recap

Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains of Utah was the setting for Novarad’s Extreme User Group Event. Along with a sling pack full of “extreme” essentials, guests received a fleece jacket to stave off the cold mountain air. However, no jackets were needed as the weather at Snowbird was sunny and warm! Attendees enjoyed breakfast during the opening session each morning and then it was off to the breakout classes. Among the classes offered were, Beginning and Advanced PACS, Advanced RIS, NovaPro, Nova MG (Mammo), Speech Recognition / Dictation, PACS Admin, Meaningful Use, and an IT session.

During lunch on both days attendees had the opportunity to sit at a table of their choosing, according to the subject being discussed. Experts lead discussions in Dose Monitoring, DR, Management Dashboarding, Vendor Neutral Archiving, Meaningful Use and Novarad Customer Support, among others.

Each afternoon, guests were given plenty of free time for activities on the mountain. There were zip line rides, tram rides to the top of the mountain, mountain bike trails, hiking, and more! Overall the event was both informative and fun.

“I want to express my thanks and gratitude to everyone at Novarad who works so hard to put these conferences on. They are a wealth of information and lots of fun as well. I brought back lots of information that I will put into use. It is obvious that the company is about it’s customers. I had a great time.” – Rhonda Anderson, Colusa Regional Medical Center
