American Fork, Utah and Newark, Del., Nov. 22, 2010 – Novarad and Medical Billing & Management Services (MBMS) have formed an exclusive partnership to package Novarad’s Nova RIS web-based patient scheduling, tracking, reporting system, and billing output together with MBMS’s billing technology and service. The integration between MBMS and Nova RIS allows for seamless, automated billing.
Included in the automated billing system is the Discover(TM) reporting tool that provides a real-time view into the practice’s productivity, accounts receivable and collections, denials, cash flow and other practice management and financial metrics.
“With the stellar reputations of both companies and a four-month guarantee to have no drop in collections, the decision to select this package for our practice was a no brainer,” said Salvatore J. Augone, CEO, Modern Diagnostic Imaging. “There is no downside. The two products work seamlessly together and it’s automatic. Having direct, real-time access to our collections gives us much more control over our finances. An additional benefit, for as powerful and convenient to use as this system is – it is affordable for any size practice.”
With the integrated radiology information system (RIS) and billing offering, practices can anticipate an average 10 percent increase in net collections and a four percent decrease in uncollectable debt.
“We picked Novarad as a partner because we saw that our companies had a lot of commonality with both our approaches to product development and serving customers,” said Susan Lucas Collins, senior vice president at MBMS. “When we began seeking a RIS provider to bundle our product with, we surveyed our existing customers and Novarad came highly recommended.”
“MBMS is a respected and trusted medical billing service company and was an absolute match for us,” said Paul Shumway, vice president at Novarad Corporation. “Our priority remains providing the best systems, best customer service and best pricing in the industry and this partnership is another fulfillment of this priority for our customers.”
Nova RIS with automated billing will be demonstrated at RSNA in Novarad’s booth #7109.
