American Fork, Utah – April 5, 2011 – Diagnostic Imaging Northwest in Tigard, Ore., selected NovaPRO, Novarad’s RIS/PACS specifically designed for diagnostic radiologist groups that read for multiple hospitals, clinics and imaging centers.
NovaPRO is specifically designed for facilitates the receipt of DICOM images from unlimited, unaffiliated image producing practices and ensures images and information remains separate. Image retrieval is provided without the necessity to store or maintain the image files. Received images are scrubbed from the archive when the storage limit, pre-determined by the interpreting physician, is reached. However, if the storage and archiving of images and reports is required, the system is configurable to be a complete PACS.
System capabilities also include the automatic distribution of resulting reports through direct HL7 messaging, email or fax to an existing radiology information system, HIS and/or EMR/EHR.
Diagnostic Imaging Northwest anticipates improved efficiencies and productivity as managing images from multiple facilities will be more streamlined, image retrieval will be faster and report distribution will be simplified.
NovaPRO is available either as an installed system or Software as a Solution (SaaS).
