Increase PACS system productivity by changing the mouse
The most common mouse used in Windows has two buttons– left and right, and a scroll wheel which also doubles as a middle mouse button. If you want to increase the functions available to the radiologists change to a mouse with more buttons.
In Windows the two extra buttons on a five button mouse are typically used for next page and previous page. In Novapacs these buttons could be configured for next series and previous series. Of course the extra buttons can be configured to any function that can be mapped to the keyboard. Three and five button mice are the most common but mice are available with even more buttons.
