December Applications Tip: Amount of Studies

Provided by Jordan Fox, a member of our Applications Team here at Novarad.

It’s the end of the week and your manager wants a report on the number of studies that have been read during that week. Without having to consult the radiology information system (RIS) or paperwork, there is any easy way to get this information from your PACS System. In NovaPACS, users can easily view how many studies they do for a facility during a given period of time by changing the filters on the PACS browser to filter by facility and then create a custom date range filter.  Then, at the top of the studies list, the number count of how many studies that match those filters is tallied.
