Customizing Toolbars

NovaPACS offers you various ways to customize and craft your workflow to suit your individual needs. One way of doing this is to create and customize easy-to-access toolbars.

The default toolbars are: Main Toolbar, Quick Ref Buttons, Default Annotation Toolbar, and Default Window Level Toolbar. To customize a tool bar, right click on one of the existing toolbars select the one you would like to change and then add or remove the desired features. To create a new toolbar, click on “New Toolbar”  and add or remove your own shortcuts and tools. However, keep in mind when customizing the the size of the icons or the text, you must choose a toolbar from the drop down menu.

The toolbars in the Viewer can be moved around on the screen. It is possible to dock the toolbars on all four sides of the viewer. When you right click on the on toolbars you will see “Lock Toolbars”, once that is unchecked, the toolbars are unlocked and can be moved allowing you to craft the user interface to your specific needs.
