VisAR Research Trial: Client Download

Thanks for submitting the CryptoChart/CryptAR Client for VisAR download form.

Instructions on how to proceed will be sent to the email address you provided. You may download the installer now if you wish, but you will need an authorization code to proceed with the installation. Within one business day, you will receive an authorization key from Novarad via email. 

The CryptoChart/CryptAR client will require the following.

(1) A suitable desktop or VM that meets or exceeds the following specifications:

• • 35 GB of free space on the receiving drive;

  • 8 GB of RAM;

  • Be on a Microsoft Windows 10 operating system;

  • Be on the same network as your PACS or modality;

  • The computer must be connected to a printer;  

  • Have either a static IP address or a dynamic IP address with a reservation;

  • Administrator access to configure the Windows firewall;

  • For additional firewalls, have the following ports open:

    • Port 104 must be open to allow TCP/IP inbound connections from your PACS or modality.​

    • Port 443 must be open to allow HTTPS outbound connections to the Novarad cloud.

  • The installer comes in the form of a signed .exe file; you may need to accept it as safe in your anti-virus.

  • Do not have Novarad software already installed on your machine or install of the CryptoChart/CryptAR Client will fail.

(2) You must have a barcode scanner. If you are ordering HoloLens 2 headsets through Novarad, you will receive a scanner as well. Otherwise, we recommend the following options for purchase:

(3) You need a printer connected to the CryptoChart Client computer.
