Greater El Monte Community Hospital and Santa Monica Bay Physicians are the latest facilities in California to select NovaPACS for their diagnostic imaging departments.
Factors behind the PACS selection included fast installation – less than a month, it seamlessly interfaced with existing systems and was affordable.Using NovaPACS, the facilities anticipate that reading and reporting turnaround will significantly improve because its radiologists will have the benefit of customizable menus, saved preferences, stat reads, and check-out and e-sign capabilities.
“NovaPACS offers customizable series display settings enabling each radiologist to set up a step-by-step image workflow according to their reading preference,” said Paul Shumway, NovaRad vice president. “This functionality helps save a lot of time, which contributes to improving the overall efficiency and productivity of a department.”
